The Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ is blessed with two camps for theregion. On the eastern side of the region, Camp N-Sid-Sen lies on beautiful Coeur d’Alene Lake.
The Westminster Church family enjoys a “Church Family Camp” weekend following the Labor Day holiday every year. An informal weekend of fellowship, hiking, walking the labyrinth onsite, eating amazing food provided by the camp, enjoying a bonfire, and singing camp songs are just some of the fun things we enjoy at family camp. Scholarships are available.
Other N-Sid-Sen camp opportunities throughout the year include various weeks of youth camps, women’s retreats, aqua camp, couples’ retreats, etc. One visit and you’ll understand why this camp is considered such a gem to our church family. (View the camp’s web site.)
At Camp N-Sid-Sen, and at Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ, all are welcome.
The camp’s name comes from a phrase of the Coeur d’Alene native people meaning “Point of Inspiration” and anyone coming to the camp can surely see why.
A camp fire without toasted
marshmallows would be unthinkable.
The camp boasts great food and fellowship
Camp N-Sid-Sen is a great place to
just relax and “be”.
